Definitely trying that carrot salad tonight… I have a leftover chickpea dish that needs brightening and it’s too hot to be cooking again today !

Supper in the garden last night as the day cooled ... the carrot dish went well although my peanut butter was the rather worthy, crunchy type so took a while to mix in! Will definitely make again ... Thank you.

You raise an excellent point. The peanut butter needs to be smooth for easy mixing. I will add that in the recipe. Thank you!

My all time favorite since my childhood. Still miss the one my Mom used to make it. Great one Melissa and well researched.

Not yet, Sally. My copy arrives next week. It was complete serendipity that my post and the namesake book came out in the same week.

I love a good dal and this sounds amazing. It makes total sense to whisk the lentils to make them creamier. Will have to try that next time.

I totally am & he is. Have you seen him in The Hour, a BBC TV series? That was my intro to Ben Whishaw, he was beyond amazing

You can also enjoy his voice in the Paddington Bear films, which I strongly recommend if you haven’t seen them already

Sure, I will. What else are you watching? I’m into British crime shows & if the setting is a beautiful seaside town, all the better
