That's it - I am picking up mustard seeds and making a quick chutney sooner than later!!! I went to an Indian market in Bangkok for chole masala mix -- what do you think, Annada, what SE Asian fruit chutney to go with? mango? pineapple? dragonfruit? durian? hehe

Oh Jess, thought you would never ask! Mango is the best, a savory sweet chutney goes superbly well with any wheat flatbread. Here's the recipe guideline

Let me know how it goes. Would love to know the result of this recipe with a thai mango.

p.s. I do plan to attempt a naan in a nonstick pan - I have made many times just always in a cast iron !!!! now to find yeast… !! I have baking soda, at least 😂

You know what? I have seen naan being made without yeast but with baking soda, baking powder & yogurt. Plus you are in a tropical country so leavening should be easy.

thank you!! I haven’t made chutney in years!! I used to do lingonberry/blueberry when living in Alaska and Wyoming from my jam/frozen berry archives and it would last me ages as the only chutney eater in my then-marriage, ha!
